How do users get started with Flourish?

Campus partners’ students, faculty, and staff can download the app from the App Store or Google Play, create an account, and select their school. With campus verification (e.g., Single Sign-On or school email), they unlock Flourish Plus, which includes community channels, embedded resources, and the full well-being toolkit.

 What level of ongoing effort is expected from campus staff?

Ongoing staff workload is minimal and flexible. Staff can scale involvement from sharing toolkit materials to running campaigns. A Campus Activation Director supports training, promotion, and adoption, while staff primarily monitor aggregate dashboards.

What is the IT and integration lift required?

IT setup is intentionally lightweight. Options include SSO, Canvas/portal tiles, or access codes. Most campuses implement Flourish within 1–2 weeks, supported by a dedicated Campus Activation Director. No sensitive data transfer is required.

Can Flourish integrate with our learning management systems?

Yes. Flourish can be added as a tile in Canvas, Blackboard, or other portals for seamless student access.

How do schools measure Flourish’s impact?

Each partner receives access to the Leader Insight Dashboard, a secure, aggregate reporting tool that helps campuses:

Flourish follows a multi-layered crisis protocol:

  • Immediate Support – A banner appears (“You’re not alone”) with links to university counseling, campus emergency contacts, and national hotlines.
  • In-Chat Safety Guidance – Sunnie offers supportive, clinically reviewed responses and direct resource links.

If a student indicates imminent risk (intent, plan, and means), Flourish activates its AI-driven university notification system, securely sharing the student’s login information for identification. Who oversees Sunnie and ensures responses are appropriate?

All concerning interactions are reviewed by a team of licensed psychologists, ensuring every response is safe, ethical, and clinically sound through a hybrid AI + human oversight model.
